The house will get fixed....there is plenty of time.

My wife told me this morning that I’m a procrastinator… definitely a conversation I would have preferred to have later, when I had more time.
I keep mental lists of things that need fixing or getting done around the house, but my attitude is usually, I’ll get to it. I’m not going anywhere. The house isn’t going anywhere. So why the rush?
In the right situation though, that mindset can turn into a stressful problem
One day you wake up and see a house for sale that you absolutely love. To get it, you need to get your current home on the market. Suddenly, that mental list turns into a stressful countdown clock of everything that has to be done right now. You rush to finish it, get the house listed, and then you find a buyer—great! But they want an inspection first.
The inspection comes back with a short list of needed repairs. You worked hard on your original list, but none of it addressed priorities—just convenience. As exciting as moving into a new home is, the stress surrounding the process can make it hard to enjoy
Home inspections don’t need to wait until you’re selling.
If you know that someday you’ll want to sell your home and want to get ahead of potential red flags, that’s where I can help. Instead of a full written inspection report with photos and technical definitions, I offer a simpler walkthrough option. I come out, we walk through your home together, and I point out things that could come up during a future sale
It’s an affordable way to make sure your house is always “on the bench,” ready to get in the game when the time comes—turning inspection stress into new-home excitement.
